Mastercraft Siding Adapter
This Patented Adapter Tip is designed to make installation of horizontal vinyl siding quick and easy in temperatures above freezing. Suitable for beginners and experts alike. This tip is the most ergonomic and efficient for large areas of horizontal siding and can also be used for vertical or board & batten siding by rotating the nailer 90 degrees. The guide posts will fit into nailing slots 1” or wider though there are guide markings on the outside of the Tip for siding with narrower or no nailing slots. A clip is included to attach onto the nose bar of the nailer to eliminate the slop on the nose (please see video below).

Compatible with the Mastercraft 15D lightweight roofing nailer 058-9816-0 (Though it appears to fit the Metabo nailer, do not use it on the Metabo nailer as that nailer has slight differences and will not give you consistency). We do have an adapter available for the Metabo nailer. Since the Mastercraft nailer is a knock-off of the Metabo, the build quality isn’t as high. Please check the nose of your nailer as we found many to be “twisted” from the factory and you may have to manually twist the nose of your nailer straight before use with vinyl siding.
The Winter Adapter Tip is designed to make installation of horizontal vinyl siding quick and easy in temperatures below freezing. It is made out of a different compound than the standard Tip to withstand the freezing conditions and engineered with a better tolerance to fit the nose of the nailer so that the adapter is not under unnecessary stress. (The winter adapter will be too loose and too soft for the warmer temperatures).
The Combo set comes with one standard and one winter adapter.
